Snow Days

We've had lots of snow days this year!  The boys have really enjoyed the snow, even when its a blizzard out there with icy winds blowing in their faces!  They would go out even on those cold cold days, if only for a half an hour, or on more normal days for an hour or so at a time and just love it. 

Nothing makes my heart happier than to see my boys happy and healthy, being boys and making funny faces.  These babies are so precious to me.  As the winter has gone on, they've become accustomed to the snow and it lost its novelty.  But I want what is best for them, so I will be the mean mom and force them to go outside sometimes so they can have good old fashioned fun when they maybe wouldn't choose it for themselves.  They always come back in happier than when they left!

And Ben has used the tractor to do our own plowing and custom built tall, tall mountains for the boys to climb on!

And most of all we've been so thankful to have a warm home all winter long; that the power never went out on us leaving us in the cold or our house vulnerable to frozen pipes.

Now it's 44 degrees outside! We've enjoyed this frozen, snowy winter, but we are so ready for Spring!!
